Before you adopt or buy any Abyssinian cats, read the following tips:
1. You should always adopt or buy from an expert or a breeder who has credentials.
2. Check the body for good muscle tone.
3. Check if the cat is sneezing or sniffling. Eyes must be clean without any discharge and ears must be clean and pink on the inside.
4. The coat should be short to medium in length, without any bald patches.
5. Always check for fleas.
6. Get an invoice or some kind of sales agreement in paper.
